Hi all. I have an old 98 cobra with a procharger D1sc and even with the intercooler the air inlet temps got smokin hot at modest boost levels. Not ten plus years later I'm back in. I fell kind of out of touch with the latest intercoolers. Is there any source of data that compares IAT of the different offering in the market both centrifugal and PD? I always said if I built another car I'd be getting the Kenne Bell. Gotta love the big block power feeling.

If you want the hottest IAT's and heat soak problems make sure you get the Kenne Bell.

And no, you will not find a credible source of real world IAT's for most (if not all of the blowers out there). High IAT's and them not dealing with them pro-actively is the dirty little secret of the forced induction community.

As far as I know there is only one company that has attacked and solved the IAT problem.

1 1/4" npt ports for maximum flow through intercooler.

Carbon reinforced nylon insulator to block engine head heat from heating the manifold.

Insulated stainless steel pan again to ward off engine heat.

1 1/4" water lines for maximum water flow.

The largest possible heat exchanger. With fan and 1 1/4" NPT pipe fittings.

Fully enclosed air intake allows only air from in front of the radiator to enter engine. Could use some insulation for even more improvement.

Looks like DOB has been busy!
Your manifold looks better with every new version.
