Hey all. As you have seen or may not have seen I’m moving to Daytona Beach Florida and building a new house. I’m just wondering who most of you are using for your car insurance as well as your home insurance bundled. Looking to see what insurance companies you guys use. Just curious. What will your home insurance cost down there?

I moved from Rhode Island, where the cost of living is so much higher, to the Florida Panhandle. Out of all of my expenses, home/auto insurance is the only thing that is much higher. I was able to continue to use Amica Mutual Insurance since I have been with them since 1999.

You may be able to keep using your current insurance company while you compare.

I haven't had the chance to check yet. I am with Allstate in California.

I will be checking everyone to see what the best rates are.

Tower Hill for home and Progressive for the cars. I have a broker for insurance if you DM me.

I belong to Bay Mustang in PC and we meet up with the above members all the time. I believe Shoal River has a cruise on Saturday. We (Bay) are going to the Navy Museum in Pensacola on Saturday.

I’m sorry it’s been so long Randy. I definitely would love to know about your broker. We are about six months out for moving there and I want to start looking into homeowners and car insurance. I will hit you up on Monday. Thanks for the offer.
