I saw a pic where a guy installed an older Eaton from a gt500 so I know its doable just at what cost. You can pick up the superchargers relatively cheap just wondering how and what else you would need.

The entire rest of the kit. Which, subtracting the rough cost of head unit, is about 4000$ worth of stuff. Intake, wiring, hoses, pump, IC, HE, relays, tune, pulleys, etc. Personally, not worth it. I don't know of anyone who sells the kit without the head unit.

Tempting for sure since you can pick up an Eaton for less than $500, but for a little more you can get a complete engineered system from one of the many supercharger vendors.

I'm a tinkerer, so I've been thinking about this setup myself, but am on the fence. It just depends on your aptitude.
So I read that whole thread. Seems interesting. It's been pretty quiet for a month. There stage 3/4 kit that include everything is north of 5800 so I don't see the savings especially using a used supercharger from a gt500. Did I miss something?

If you actually read that you'll find there are more advantages than just lower price.

Don't feel like reading 3 pages. Can you give cliff notes?

Something something IATs are subzero with that kit. That's the gist.

it has an engine!
The condors suppercharger doesn't have as much potential as the trinitys. Not sure if that one swaps as well but i wouldnt waste my time with anything less than. Just my opinion.
