Over this week I installed g force halfshafts and the Viking shocks had little clearance but they were rattling and clunking so bad that you could hear it outside the car. Before I put the axles in I didn't have this bad of a rattle and clunk. Today I go to put the stock pp shocks back on and the clearance is extremely close and seems it might hit the halfshafts boot on both sides of the car when driving. I undone the clamp and tried to stretch out the boot but that didn't really help at all. Suggestions? Someone has had to had a solution to this.

Do you have the OEM shock mounts? If so, I wouldn't worry much.

You should be fine especially with the factory shocks. Just check the shocks for wear the next time you have the car up on jackstands.

I had to carefully grind down my Konis a bit to gain a hair of space between the giant halfshaft's boots, but the Koni's measure wider than OEM.

Contact gforce about the boot issue. I just did and they are going to install smaller boots on mine. They claim they have never heard this issue before. At least they are willin to help me out no questions asked...
Btw I have ford racing shocks and they hit as well.

Wow thanks for the info. If mine ever go in for servicing, I'll remember that!

Wow very low profile. Hopefully that metal backing plate doesn't become a new clearance issue. Are you installing soon?
