installation troubles(IRS tie down)

Trying to install the sr performance IRS tie down and it seems my subframe was way misaligned from factory and I can't get the front main subframe bolt on the drivers side to threads straight. Pictures attached for proof. Any ideas on how to get it alligned would be appreciated. I don't have many tools at my disposal, didn't think I would need anything special. Getting frustrated already and it's only been like 45 minutes.

Had both sheer plate bolts off completely and the rear blue bolt out and the damn think still won't line up.

So you had the whole subframe loose, all 4 bolts and she still wont line up?
Sounds like you need to use the pry bar method now

I had the same problem as you on the front driver side, although I was installing BMR's version. I could thread the bolt but I when I began to tighten the bolt I could tell that it was not threading straight. After a couple hours of frustration I got a friend to use a prybar and shift the cradle around while I looked up into the opening of the tiedown bracket and tried to align the holes. I lined it up as best as I could, threaded the bolt and tightened it down.

You will still have to pry the subframe around with all the bolts loose.

**UPDATE**
I ended up making a run to menards to get a 24" pry bar. Still didn't work. The hole is misaligned in such a way that the subframe needs to go towards the passenger side to get the bolt threaded in straight. But you can only really pry towards the front or towards the rear of the car. Even tried using a ratchet strap to the passenger side of the car.

The solution for now is that I put the new metal bushing in and just left the stock sheer plate on the driver side.

LONG TERM: I'm friends with some people that work at a nearby firestone so I might take it there and see if they can figure it out. Might do the 150$ lifetime alignment deal too

Btw the passenger side went on in literally 15 minutes, couldn't have been easier.
