I got a Quote for $800 as well. It include 17" of the hood & front bumper. $60 for mirrors and $75 for all the lights. It just seems like alot... Idk. I went to two other shops after my first quote and no one want to do this work? Not sure why
Yeah, must be the going rate then. The xpel ultimate seems like an awesome product but $800 is a nice chunk of change.

I can get a different clear bra that the guy says has a better shine to it than the xpel but not quite as good of the protection, and obviously doesn't self heal for $499 Installed.

What is the alternate product? Just do your own internet sleuthing and you will find out easy enough how it compares to the xpel.

btw, I don't want my ppf to shine, I want to not even be able to tell it is there (any seams aside). :)

I've got it written down at the house, I'll edit when I get home. But yeah, I guess shine wasn't the best term, rather "more invisible" than Xpel. And agreed, there really isn't much comparison to the Xpel in terms of protection and technology, that stuff seams to be nearly magical.

The installer said the other stuff carried a 5 year warranty and also noted that whatever I went with, after 5 years I'm going to want to redo it.

I think I've given up on Opti Coat and am leaning more towards clear bra paint protection, just trying to decide if I want to spend $800 for it or do it cheaper for $500.
