Agree........that's Ingot.........but either under a heavy influence of blue light, or Photoshopped.

That being said, a very light metallic grey like that would look stunning on S550. Something like this

just for direct comparison an aston with the wheel on the right (i.e. left Hand) side :lol:

now fiddle around a Little with the lighting conditions add mayby and some Chrome around the dlo and: voila: here is your Budget aston

Indeed! Aston Martin (either a DB9 or Vanquish) is the only "supercar" I dream of owning. How cool is it that our S550 looks like such a close relation

An Aston Martin DB-9 or DB-S is also My Dream Car but the 2015 is not the first time a Mustang and an Aston Martin have looked like they could be related...

The thing I like about this pic is that the angle and lens make the car appear more compact and muscular with smaller overhangs

Just curious. Why does this pic look like it got a bit more front and rear overhang vs. the pic below? So which one uses visual tricks?

Probably because the most prominent side of the nose is turned away from the camera, making the front appear shorter. The new design protrudes more towards the leading edge of the hood (the shark nose) and has more of a curved front now compared to the more blunt fascia of the current car so in certain angles where the nose is turned away it looks much shorter.

Also most of the car is in shadows in the second pic. That has a slimming effect. It's always going to look bigger in harsher lighting.

the upper pic gives you the more correct idea of the car
the difference between the 2 pics is the distance between the camera and the car
the car on the road was photographed from a great distance whereas the car on the Autoshow was photographed from a very short distance.
the closer you are to the object, the less real the pic is

let me put it this way (as my english does not allow me to express it more professionally):
stand only 2 ft. away from the car near the door. if your camera is able to make a pic of the whole car (you Need a lense which is up to this Job) this happens.
to look at the frontbumper, you have an angle that is the same as if you nearly stand behind of the car. to look at the rearbumper of the car (from your Point of view at the door) you have an angle that is the same as if you nearly stand in front of the car (just Google fish eye effect) even the pic gives you an example, of how the world is bend by the camera: take a look at the floor, which has quares. at the left and right Corner the squares are not so Close to the lower end of the pic as they are in the middle of the pic.

if you go away from the car (let us say) 50 of 100 Yards, there is nearly no difference in the angle, if you look at the rear of frontbumper

you can even feel the effect...
if you stand 2 ft away from the car, you have to turn your head to look from front to rear, if you are 50 Yards away you just see the car from the side

Topnotch that is an awesome pic of Ingot at night. :hail:

This one is crap quality but it is intersting because of the middle pic next to the current gen. I wish I could find a better quality version of this.

I know on paper they didnt shrink the new car but man does it look a lot smaller/lower/wider in some angles.

The length may be the same but overall height is quite a bit lower especially the hood height.

Yea the roof over all is just a lot sleeker and tighter than the current model. It's got the sexiest greenhouse of any Mustang IMO.
