This unit will not work for the Premium models that already have an 8" screen. There is another model that does work for that but not sure when we will have that one available. If there is enough interest we will but most wanting this are coming from the base 4" screen.

Ok got the software updated installed. You can now select day/night mode in settings, corrected clock to give 24/12 hour options, temp can be celcius or fahrenheit now and fixed a few other small things. One more update to correct some spelling issues and should be good to go!

Is the unit going to have RDS ?
Meaning it will display the info from the radio stations.

Do you know if one replaces the "radio/cd player" ( I think it is call the ACM ) Would it be able to display HD Radio info ?

This won't have RDS as of now. It uses the oem sync info but adds navigation, larger screen, hdmi input, extra usb etc. it won't have satellite radio.
