I've had warranty work done on my car, but I only have a cat back system. Rod baker in Plainfield is were I went. Very nice people there. For just a oil change I don't think they would say anything.really what can they say. You can always find a local shop. Oil change takes no time to do. I would like to hear your car in person one day. Thinking of cat deletes.

No but I do a lot of work on cars at my house. If you need work done I have very good rates out of my home shop in Huntley IL...i can even do oil changes for you

Hello Chicagoland. I'm new to the forum, so I would like to introduce myself to the locals. My name is Jim and I'm from Lockport. I purchased a black 2015 Gt pp 6m about 1 year ago. Over the years I have owned many muscle cars ( firebird, Camaro, mustang ), but I had never heard about test and tune. Well that changed last summer and made about 20 passes at Rt. 66 raceway. Man do I have a lot to learn. Then this winter I found out that I can run in various HPDE events. I plan on running a event or 2 at the Joliet autobahn. I have read that a few of you have run this track and any advice on my first outing would be more than welcome. I have read many of the posts in the autocross section and there is a lot to be learned from that alone, but they seem way more advanced than I will ever be. Thanks in advance.

I might take you up on that at some point! I just ordered an H-Pipe but havent gotten around to getting a jack and jack stands haahaha :frusty:
