Cool linkYes, Ford and GM are jointly working on a 10 speed automatic. Its first Ford application will be the F150; it will almost certainly not be in 2016 Mustangs.

Maybe not, Camaro might be gone after 2016 at this rate. They are working on 2.
GM is leading on a FWD 9A, Ford is leading the effort on the RWD 10A.
Yes, it will likely see usage in both brand's cars (Mustang/Camaro) and trucks.
At the rate of Chevy not releasing anything...at what rate? sales wise before the new mustang design camaro lead ever since it came back. there both great cars and both along with the challenger will be around for awhile
If anything, it would be the challenger to go first. The reason I say that is that there has been quite literally, no real big redesigns since it was first even released! Also the interior is very bland.Maybe not, Camaro might be gone after 2016 at this rate.
Dude have you been living under a rock?:shrug:If anything, it would be the challenger to go first. The reason I say that is that there has been quite literally, no real big redesigns since it was first even released! Also the interior is very bland.
How do you know this, you say this like you have firsthand knowledge or something... :gossip: /SarcasmThe 2015 Challenger is a redesign of the 08-14 challengers.
Different front and rear fascia's. Completely new and much more modern interior.
Haha yea. The 15 interiors between the mustang and the challenger are both so much better than their previous interiors. Really is whatever you prefer. It was a tough choice between the 2 for me. Only thing I didn't like was plain Jane gauges in the new mustang. I enjoy the retro style gauges of the challenger.[emoji13]How do you know this, you say this like you have firsthand knowledge or something... :gossip: /Sarcasm
Sat in a '15 Challenger at the Portland Auto Show, and it is pretty nice, prefer it over the Camaro by far. I personally prefer the Mustang over both, but admit that it is as much emotional as fact based...
So is this thing an automated manual or another torque converter (TC) automatic? I cant tell from the drawings provided, but when I look at the referenced ZF 8, it appears to be yet another TC type tranny. Any opinions?
