I can't get Sticky

How do I make s thread sticky? I want to set up a calandar for events and meet ups that I can edit through the year and add what people want?

Only mods/admins can sticky a thread and they are stickied for all users. You can subscribe to a thread using the thread tools drop down menu and then find the thread again using the quick links drop down menu.
