I will have one in my Mustang soon. Others have different perspectives of what value and style is. I spent lots of money on stupids things in my life, so this is very justified.

I had to take it off today and redo the zip tie at the base of the shifter boot, stripped one of the bolts out ugg. I don't know what size it is or how to reorder. Hopefully Hurst can help me out. Beware when installing. The heads of the bolts are soft.

Anyone have issues with this sticking or not releasing correctly?

I went ahead and bought this as it seemed like the best alternative for what i was looking for.

I have an issue that if i snug (not crank on them, but just hand snug) the screws prevent the plastic piston from moving up and down as it should inside.

It also doesn't recognize when the car is in Park. The P doesn't turn red. I think the pistol is applying a bit of force on the shifter actuator when it shouldn't be.

Anyeone else have issues like this?

Got in touch with Hurst. I'm working through CJPP on an exchange. They believe it's a manufacturing flaw.

We'll see when i get the new one.
Got the replacement handle from CJ.

Went in no problems and no issues. Not sure what was really up with that first one but this one is fine.

I still think it's taller than it should be but it's better than the OEM.
