How to verify that a bap is bad

I have a vmp bap with pnp harness. How would i go about verifying that it is not bad? I tried searching qnd couldnt find anything. Im on the lund ngauge.

Whatever wire u is feeding voltage out of your bap should be putting.out 18 volts if on the 18 volt setting.U can also check the power wire at the fuel pump connector to make sure it has boosted voltage.Make sure your padal is to the floor when checking if it works of the pps.

I've in the past verified it was raising voltage when in boost by using a multi meter. Just tap the power wire from the BAP to fuel pump and extend leads so you can see it raise while on boost when driving.

I would create a new ground terminal if you haven't already. I had to replace a short block because my BAP wasn't putting out the full 18v.
