How to search threads?

Maybe I'm missing something, but is there no longer a way to search specific threads?

I'm sure I will grow used to the other new and missing features over time, but that one is going to hurt a lot on tech threads with a ton of pages.

When you're in the thread you want to search, just click the search icon in the header menu bar and click on "Search This Thread Only" option.

Aha! Thank you. A little unintuitive, but it works.

I actually find the new search function great. It's contextual so it'll give you extra options depending on where you are on the site - like when you're in a thread, it'll pop up an option to search the thread.

Yeah, the result page is better than the old one too.
