How to read a VIN#

Doing the happy dance I received my Vin#

I know I have seen it on here somewhere but can't find it, but could someone help me understand what the VIN#'s tell me?

Yeah not really sure what you would want to know? I mean, i assumed you ordered it. So you should know exactly what your getting:shrug:.

Easiest way to get build date is check blend on the sticker. It has build date in it.

I just received my VIN# and it is not showing up on Cotus yet so therefore I have no sticker but I found a VIN decoder that tells me what I wanted to know.

What did you want to know?

Didn't realize your car wasn't built.

Window sticker and actual scheduled to day date will come about a week before your car is built. The scheduled build date until then is actually the scheduled week.

I bought my car off the lot. No idea what the build date is. Would also like to know how to read a vin
