How to Enable Heated/Cooled Seats - All Models

I'm installing heated and cooled seats in a 2023...

I'm guessing I have a 2019 seat with the newer memory module.

I think I read in post a couple pages back no by passes are needed....

What about can bus? That still needs to be fed to the seat correct?

Wanted to add this. To anyone installing 2018 + seats in a 2021, 300a car, and looking for OB2 plug with corresponding can bus + & - . As for what

EricV2003 mentioned, I can confirm all the wiring is accurate on 2018+ cars and seats. Only need to jump the power and ground and wire up the harness for passenger seat wires. This is a picture of my OBD harness plug with test jumpers before I solder the conections.

If you have a 2018+ with a 301A package and have 2 connections under the seat you CAN get leather heated and cooled seats. PLUG AND PLAY. No creating wiring harnesses no spicing no programming and No alternator upgrades. Only need the bezel with the buttons or use forscan to add the buttons to the sync screen. This has been tested by me. Any questions let me know.

If donor car has memory, then they will not move. You will need to bypass the memory module, which I explained in the main thread. See if that helps.

How would I bypass the memory module on a 2018+ seat? Currently seeking information on that. The connectors on these is a bit different than what is on your main thread. Any information would help! Thanks!

So I attempted the swap on my 17 gt with seats from a 21. I built the harness and tapped into the gray and violet pins on the back of the obd2, took those and tapped into the big connector on the driver seat. Turned the vehicle on but can’t seem to get the seats to work am I missing something. The OP wasn’t to hard to follow so I figured this would go without a problem. Can any lmk if they’ve experienced the same and how’d they deal with it, would greatly appreciate it

I think you may need to bypass the memory module, not sure tho since it's not my model year

I have enabled buttons on ac controls through forscan so have soft buttons for heated and cooled seats just dont know what harness im looking for

Does anyone make this harness anymore? I'm trying to upgrade to heated and cooled seats in my 2020. I have the male and female harness on my new leather seats, they're just cut from where they were stripped out from the donor car. And tbh this is totally out of my wheel house dealing with anything electrical. I already have upgraded my dash bezel to the premium

If you're referring to the harness connecting the two seats it's super easy and the connectors themselfs are cheap on aliexpress, check this seller out for automotive connectors: ChenYi Electric Co., Ltd
I've bought from him severa times and the quality is top notch and never had a problem with his connectors in my mustang.

That's it, I'm wondering if anyone sells the entire harness, without me having to wire it. Tbh i just don't trust myself to not screw that up

I don't think anyone is selling it but you just need to solder a long enaugh wire to connect the wires from on plug to another, they're color coded and in the same position on both plugs.
