Oh you mean the ebrake? I’ve messed with that before hc it loosens up over timeWorth looking at. Heat shield will show some evidence and a 10MM deep socket on about 18" of extensions on the brake adjuster up in the tunnel will in the very least tension it up.
well for one, I live in an apartment that doesn’t allow any sort of work to be done. Nor do I have a jack and stands on my third story apartment without an elevatorI don't quite understand why your still asking questions on what could be causing your issues rather than just jack it up and finding the actual cause. This OP is almost like a BOT??
Or four, just Stop asking for you have been given all the info you need to find your cause. Take your car To a Shop and have the issue found and corrected. You think you are the only person who lives in an apartment or with their parents and don't have access to a garage? That's actually pretty common now days. Just take it to a shop and get it corrected, wash your hands and never look back. Your noise/vibration issues was most likely caused by the Cat Back Install. If not, Find what is. Good Luckwell for one, I live in an apartment that doesn’t allow any sort of work to be done. Nor do I have a jack and stands on my third story apartment without an elevator
for two, it’s easier to ask so I know what to look for. I’m unsure of what the point of being a dickhead is.
and three, my parents live 45 minutes from me so it’s not just as easy as going over there any time especially working 12+ hour days. Again, thanks for being a dickhead.
not everyone’s situation is the same, I can’t just go outside and jack up my car and check.
Agreed here on all counts.Or four, just Stop asking for you have been given all the info you need to find your cause. Take your car To a Shop and have the issue found and corrected. I’m going over to my parents next weekend for a family get together and wanted to gather as much as information as possible to hopefully be as successful as I can trying to track it down.Agreed here on all counts.
@Metz3020827 you are asking for what the issue is but if you can’t work on your car for whatever reason then why ask? Your best option is to take it to a shop for them to diagnose.
My opinion is it’s the exhaust, you should have 1/2-3/4” clearance around the exhaust everywhere to allow for expansion and movement under load. But you would need to jack up the car and look for that.
