How hard will it be to get MY car?

Hello all! First thread here and I'd like some opinions.

I'm going to be overseas until April/ May 2015, so I'm planning on buying my S550 around that time. I'm looking to buy an EB premium w/nav in ingot silver.

My question is, should I place an order for it through Ford, or should I rely on my dealer to find what I want? I know the first run won't start hitting the lots for another month or so, so I'm not sure what the situation will be like early next year.

I'm sure by the time your back you will be able to find what you want on a lot somewhere.

Just order exactly what you want w x- plan and tell them when you want it.... Don't leave it to chance, get what YOU want!

Would you mind linking me to some posts with x-plan info? Can military use the program? I'd never heard of it before I joined the forum

I'm pretty sure by that time, dealers will be able to provide more accurate projections to when you could take delivery of an ordered Mustang. However, I'm pretty sure you will find one on a lot, just keep in mind the ones that sit on the lot might have a lot of seat time by test drivers that just wanted to take it for a drive, lol.
