We all know the black PP wheels are a pain to clean. Curious if others have found an easier way.
After the rest of the car is washed, I've been using Stoner's window cleaner and paper towels to clean mine.
I sit in front of each wheel, spray a liberal dose of Stoners on the wheels and wipe and clean each section. Takes at least five minutes per wheel and usually requires a second quick wipe down with a clean paper towel misted with Stoners.
To get inside the lug nut wells, I take a wooden chop stick and put about four layers of damp paper towels over it, stick it in each well, and swirl it around a few times. This part actually goes pretty fast and works really well.
I know there are spray on cleaners that you're supposed to be able to spray on and just rinse off. I've tried one, and it help but to get the wheels really nice and clean, I still had to use the above method.
Anyone got any tricks up their sleeves?
