It looks like it's a good mod...has anyone done it? Is it worth it?

Yes. Very much worth it. Looks top quality and very easy to install.

I have the Steeda hood strut kit. David@Steedacan hook you up with a great deal on their kit.

I plan on doing it soon. I hate hood prop rods.

But worth is determined by you.

I think its a good mod since the hood is so freaking heavy. I had aluminum hood on my RX-8 and it was super light.

Responded :) In stock and ready to ship!
Do it!

Their kit is soooo beefy. Especially the plates that mount to the bottom of the hood. The setup is very secure and strong and nothing moves or torques, use after use.

Yes. Takes 2 seconds to mark and drill the cover. The fit and finish is top notch.

The Roush AB with the stock resonator sounds good. When you add an x or h pipe, you get a lot of rasp. If you like that sound, you will love the Roush, if you plan to add an x or h pipe.

With the stock resonator as I said above, it had a great sound. zero drone. The tips look awesome and are my favorite.
