Cant wait to see yours finished !!!! My car is running great so far, still working on tuning the methanol but the weather is not cooperating here :frusty:

Thanks man, I too am working with Adam, ordering my EFR next week so looking at another two to three weeks until it's installed.....

Began assembling the turbo/adaptor/wastegate housing. Plan on doing the install the weekend of 2/27. I'll do an entire build thread afterwards with detailed part numbers, install pics, and results. It's a PTE5431E

How much do these DIY setups go for? I would imagine they are cheaper that some kits already out?

I have about $1500 in the setup, and lots of time......Also, unless you have access to a Tig or at the very least a quality Mig it's not really possible to DIY.....

Im trying to figure out why someone hasent made a starter kit so the user could use the turbo of their choice

Honestly I have almost $200 in my open scroll adaptor, factor in the Tig welder at $7k, the electric bill for all the welding, and the man hours, I wouldn't be able to sell one for less than $400 and consider it profit. I looked into having my adaptor mass produced in cast 304 from a company in Milwaukee and it was over $6k for the initial startup, molds, and a run of 50-60 units. So you can see, it's not cheap......
