Of course! I hate to see this kind of stuff. I've had a fraudulent charge or two on my personal credit card before and I know how annoying it can be to change everything over. We're dedicated to making sure our customers don't have to deal with that on our behalf!

After i got hit a few years ago and my checking account was a mess until all of the wonky fake transactions were dropped, I only use a credit card for buying things. Ill let the cc company worry about getting their money back while mine is in the bank.
This is why I don't like using debit cards. It's not worth the risk in my opinion. Using a credit card creates another buffer between thieves and your money. Also, my credit card offers a better rewards program. Also a reason I don't have a very high limit on my card.

I travel a lot for work and my card (either company or personal) gets compromised about once per year. It's almost a 100% guarantee in Mexico. It's really annoying.

Honestly, the banks have your back and you don't lose money in these situations...the only hassle is getting the bank card replaced.

This was my first time as the victim of card fraud, and 5 mins on the phone to the bank had the situation under control. They credited the money back into my account for all 6 transactions without any hassle.
Nice! I recall a few years back an uncle of mine had his card hacked and duplicated or something. He racked up charges at gas stations in a nice little path going across a few states. His bank (Union Bank of California before they just changed their name to Union Bank) took about a week dragging ass to resolve it and he was living life on the edge financially until they replaced his funds. So probably depends on how cool your bank is lol. That and this was about 7 years ago. A lot can change in 7 years.
