Hello All,

So today I purchased some GT350 wheels from another forum member.

My issue is that I did not think or realize that the front Wheels, which are 10.5", would stick out a bit past the fenders.

The rears are great, perfect and flush.

But the fronts, man, I just can't get past it!

I don't think I can just get use to it.

Paul from Need4Speed, great guy and very helpful, suggested maybe to get some spacers, 5mm, for the rear to try and match the front. (that's where I got my wheels mounted today).

But, I just want the front to be flush.

The tires are great and the wheels are great - no problem there.

So my question is, what if I were to get 285 or 275 for the front tires?

Would that be closer to flush and also still fit the rim properly?

The fronts are 295.

Posting some Pics.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Old thread but hoping somebody could help? From the UK with a 2017 GT. I’m having custom wheels made in 20inch in the OEM GT350 wheel design. However I need them to fit my standard GT fenders temporarily but also be the correct size to sit flush for when I do the genuine GT350 front end conversion next year. Do you think I will be able to do this? What wheel specs do you think I will need? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

1) 350 front fenders are wider, so anything which is flush with that wider fender will poke about 0.4" with GT fenders. So what fenders are you going to run?

2) flush vs poke has a lot to do with not just the wheel sizes and offsets, but also the camber you're running. Dial more negative camber, the top of the front tire tucks in.

OEM GT350 front wheels are 10.5" ET 30, rears are 11" ET62
OEM GT350R wheels are 11" ET24 and 11.5" ET62
OEM PP2 front wheels were 10.5 ET24 (and poke a little on the GT fenders)

If you have camber plates, its not a big deal to adjust for a little more negative camber and use the OEM GT350 front wheel offsets on the GT and still tuck under the fenders.

So are you willing to adjust camber? When you install the GT350 front end conversion, are you doing the wheel fenders too?

Ashiq73 awesome thread man! And awesome car!!

I have a question about your set up, I have a 2015 Mustang Gt and I actually just picked up a set of OEM GT350 rims that look just like yours. My question: do you have any rubbing or fitment issues with any of the wheels? Thanks in advance!

Hey Bro,

I do not have any rubbing or fitment issues but keep in mind, I have the full Ford Performance Track Package Suspension Setup ( I don't know if they still sell that as it was in 2016 I got that setup with the wheels).

As I have stated before, because the setup is all OEM and made for the mustang, the stance is perfect, just like a 350 I would say.

I posted a pic recently in the Photo Section for Magnetic Mustangs, you can check that out too.

So, I would say for those OEM 350 wheels, you got to have the right setup otherwise I guess there could be rubbing involved.

I am not into slammed cars or looks, I kind of like the OEM look to it and I want to be able to drive it. It is definitely lower than stock, that is for sure.

Hope this helps and if you have any more questions, let me know.

Jay
