I'm having trouble getting the injectors to fall in place on the passenger side. They will not sit all the way down or "pop" into place. On the fuel rails they go in good. But on the actual car I can't get them to go in, not even if I just try putting the injectors in. Only way is if I remove the silver/gray adapter at the bottom but I was told to leave them on. Can I run it without it? The 1050x are the same size as the Whipple injectors with them off so maybe I'm suppose to remove them? Anyone have this issue? If so any tips will highly be appreciated....

Did you try it without the spacers?

No, I was under impression they had to be left on. But I removed them yesterday and see they are exactly same size as whipple injectors without the spacers so I may run it like that.

I was on the same boat last year actually. It fits like a glove without the sleeves, but everyone says it’s supposed to be installed. I just know Lund along with everyone here to leave it on and I have no issue so far. It does smell like I have an o/r with my cats on so far.

make sure you lubricate them, and then work them in slow, it is tight on the whipple setup. you can use a smaller o ring as well, but if you work them in slow they do go in.

Feel Free to DM me or call with any questions.
