Hello. I am doing a water pump replacement on a 2017 Mustang GT 5.0. During disassembly, I found this part in the engine bay on the driver side. I cannot figure out where it goes or if it is even for the car. I do not know if it popped out of something I was taking apart to access the front of the engine. Appreciate any ideas/thoughts. It is hard plastic and not overly smooth/perfectly finished. It is slightly beveled. Appreciate it.
