Hi All,

As always I make everything so bloody hard. I cant disconnect the rear camera to get on with swapping my deck lid. The CJPP video shows the camera being disconnected in 1.5s, ive been at it for about 45 mins. It simply wont budge, what am I missing? I assume its the section marked in red that slides off? :frusty:

There is a little clip you need to unhook i believe.. I also had an issue with this and nearly ripped the whole thing off in frustration

Not trying to be smart, but don't the 2 small bolts have to be undone and the whole assembly pulls out?

The 2 bolts (7mm or 6mm I think) are after you take the panel out.

It's just a clip for the sensor (at the bottom I'm pretty sure). Push on it and pull simultaneously.

Thanks for all the responses. Got there in the end. Turned a 30m job into 3h but the end result looks good. The clip on the connector was just super tight, I ended up removing the trim as shown in the video above to give me some more slack on the cable. Big hands + no slack + fading light + frustration - skill = a painful experience. :headbonk:
I still needed to get a flat-head screwdriver into the clip to free it though, ive weakened it a lot but I think it will still be fine.

Thanks guys.

Some clips I've found are a lot tighter in some areas and others are totally different. Must have just had a very tight clip.

For future reference... I found a firm press with a flat screw driver in the middle of the right vertical side of the connector (as seen highlighted in red in the OP picture) popped it off quickly.
I had no luck fiddling around with my fingers.
