Update: I got the pulley removed. I used a H17 socket like @Jmeo mentioned in a previous post. He was also helpful in private messages. The problem was with the torque gun I was using. I could not get it to move with a Milwaukee medium/compact size torque gun. But thanks to @db252 for mentioning to try using a different torque gun which is what I did - I put the H17 socket on a larger gun and it came out within seconds. For anyone attempting this in the future you will need to hold the pulley tight. Also I don't know if this helped or not but I also sprayed some WD40 on it and when removing it I tapped the gun forward one quick time then put it in reverse to pull that sucker out.

Generally you need an impact gun for the alternator nut. I would start there.

I have an impact gun, I still need to know what socket to use to remove that nut with the impact.

The stock pulley is removed using the H17 like you’re using. A really good impact is your best friend as not all impacts are alike. Of the 10 rib installs I’ve done, using the impact while holding tension with the 6 rib belt around the pulley has always worked. The new 10 rib pulley will be held on with a nut.

Nice, glad you figured out the issue. My old brain was right after all, the impact was the issue, not the noodle.

I couldn't remember how many ugga guggas I gave it, but I knew it came off without issue.
