Help: Re-using OEM 19" wheels with new tires?

Has anyone done this?
My car is a 2015 non-PP GT Premium with the silver finish 19" wheels, 255 A/S Pirelli tires. I found specs that indicate the existing rim is 19x9, so would I unmount the 255 tires and mount sticky 275s for a square setup with a lot more grip. Any thoughts?

If you are talking about the dark stainless 19" wheels, which I believe you are since they have A/S tires, they are actually 8.5" wide.

I have the 50th anniversary wheels, which are silver finish and a different design than that: you can see them in my exhaust video here:

I think these are 19x9, but correct me if I'm wrong!
