So would I need a custom tune because of the mod (cai)? Or would a off the shelf work?
We only do custom tuning. In a perfect world that is what you want. If you do a canned tune, there is no customization for what you have done to the car. If you, your neighbor and I all have the same car but varying levels of modification a canned tune doesn't know nor care. We all have the same tune. Where as we will take your mods and octane level into consideration when we build your custom tune!

Ok Thanks. So another question regarding your tune. If I went with a 93 octane tune, which we have here on the east coast, but if I found myself on a trip and could only find 91 octane, would it hurt my car, or just affect power output? thanks again.

We always recommend pairing 93 performance tuning with a 91 performance tune as a backup because there are so many states that do not have 93. You cannot run less than 93 on a 93 tune. However you can always run more octane. So we have many guys that run MS109, C16, etc on their 93 tunes. You will hurt your car if you try to run lower octanes on premium fuel tunes. Our tuner can hold 4 custom tunes as well as your factory tune at the same time.
