I got the two step working on my auto car yesterday by tapping into the purple and violet wire on the two brake light switch. I launched the car and it worked great but it threw the check engine light so I let out of the run. The code was P0300 and when I looked at my logs my AFR went up to .85 and it normally stays at .77-.80. I also noticed that the short term fuel trims were locked at one on that run. Is it normal for short term fuel trims to lock after triggering a misfire code?

If you sat on the 2-step a good length of time then yes it will set codes. On a full handicap tree I don't mash the throttle until the top bulb lights on your tree.

I hope that is the reason because the two step made launches much better. It seemed like the car went in limp mode two and stopped adjusting AFR.
