I'll soon be getting a GT Premium without the PP and am looking to improve the ride quality of what will be my daily driver. I've never modified a cars suspension before and I need help figuring out a build.
Option 1
FRPP Handling Pack
Steeda G-Trac
This seems like a great option, new shocks, struts, toe links, jounce bumpers, everything. My concern is over the harshness of the ride. I've read the thread reviewing this and people seem very satisfied but am worried over the "intended for track use" part of the description for the handling package from retailers. So far those who have it seem to like it. However it seems people have universal praise for the Steeda Progressive springs for their ride quality hence...
Option 2 - The Steeda Build
Steeda Front and Rear Sways
Steeda Progressive Springs
Steeda G-Trac
PP Rear Toe Links or Steeda Adjustable Toe Links (overkill?)
I've read conflicting thoughts on the needing to upgrade shocks and struts when lowering cars, but it seems the consensus is that a mild 1" drop doesn't warrant that. Would it be beneficial to get the FRPP Strut and Shock kit as well or the jounce bumpers? I'm concerned that the base GT suspension won't handle the change as well as a car that already had and upgraded suspension from the PP.
Miscellaneous Parts
Finally I'd appreciate some thoughts on the following. Are they worth having on DD that would see some spirited weekend driving but not necessarily see the track.
Steeda IRS Subframe Bushings
Steeda IRS Subframe Support
BMR/Steeda Vertical Links
Rear Differential Bushings
I know this is a long post and I appreciate any help or suggestions.
