Hey guys!

So, a couple of weeks ago I bought a 2017 GT Premium, and it came with these rims, and I can't find much info on them. A couple of people have said that they are factory-black 50 Year rims, other people tell me that Ford never made these on black, others tell me that these must have been custom-ordered by the dealership.

All I know is that I've only seen them in person one other time, on a brand new (0 miles) 2017 GT Premium (yellow as well) at another dealership.

IF they are OEM, are they sought after? I kinda like them, but are not my favorite OEM Rims and was thinking of swapping them.

Those definitely look like the factory wheel. I can't say if they came in black or if they've been painted.

I wouldn't say that ANY of the usual factory wheels are 'sought after', except for two: the factory PP2 wheels, maybe (although they're a bit heavy). The GT350R carbon fiber wheels are definitely special and desirable, but the rest of the normal GT350/GT/Ecoboost/V6 Mustang wheels are pretty much heavy, cast, not super durable, and cheap in general.

Cool, thanks.

Anyone got any extra info on them?

Those look like they might be an optional 19" dark stainless wheel for the GT Premium. Maybe they were painted black as a custom order or afterwards by the owner. Google the 2017 Mustang brochure for the OEM wheel choices.

I love you, it hadn't occurred to me to look at the brochure. D'oh

So according to the brochure, these are 19" Ebony Black-Painted Aluminum (Included: GT Black Accent Package).

Thanks a bunch, this can be closed!
