I’ve got a 2019 convertible and want to get rid of the dull yellow dome and visor lights. The only problem is that I keep finding the kits for the non-convertible and I know the lights are different locations. Does anyone actually know the size or numbers needed to upgrade them?

Here are the dome lights in my semi dark garage.

Be very careful replacing the dome lights (officially located in the overhead console). While you can and SHOULD replace them from the front-remove the plastic covers and install the lights inside their housing- it's very easy for them to push up into the OHC, which required me to remove the OHC.

DO NOT TRY TO LOWER THE OHC UNLESS YOU'RE WILLING TO REPLACE IT. it costs $400 iirc and is a PITA. The other trim prices around it likely will never fit together the same and it's very easy to damage them. If you put the top down and look at the plastic above the windshield, most of it needs to be fully or partially removed, including A-pillars.

None of the instructions i read or followed to lower the OHC were accurate for my 2020 vert and I, like others, broke it.

I pushed mine through and had to take the whole thing off the roof. It was a pain, but, totally doable without breaking it. You cannot tell that I removed it. Just take your time and a good trim pry tool.

I was pretty fortunate. I was able to get the map lights and the visor lights removed without much problem. The biggest issue was with the visor lights. The LED lights were having trouble making a solid connection so I had to pull the plastic socket out and then bend the pins out slightly in order to make full contact with The LEDs. They were super cheap and I have like eight of them left over… Lol. Big difference after swapping them. The picture is with the center map lights changed and only set of visor lights to compare.
