So i dont need anything fancy. Was looking on summit and found m2015 zamp motorcycle helmets,full face for 100.00,will the dragstrip approve this helmet since its called a motorcycle helmet? What helmets you guys have?? THX!

I don't know about drag strips. The main safety differences between Motorcycle and auto helmets is related to fire and type/number of impacts.

I would buy an auto helmet even if the rules don't require it. Better to not fry your head in case of fire. I also suspect an auto helmet absorbs more force on first impact, since it does not need to keep protecting you as you bounce off different things while tumbling to a stop.

Buy the latest Snell rating year that fits in your budget. You can use it longer that way.

I use a Vega bought from Amazon. Fits good and comfy.

Every drag strip I've ever been to has allowed motorcycle helmets, at least for 11.50 and up. I've never been through an inspection below 11.50.
