Decided i couldn't be bothered to spend hours baking headlight,
so got the dremel versatip out and decided to cut it open, 10 mins was open.

edges are a bit rough, will see how it goes back together next week
this is a European LHD headlight, has got a horizontal adjuster, so wondering if it could do RHD aswel

I cant wait to meet you. You are either mad or dont give a toss
I just love that you overcook an expensive headlamp in an oven and then take to it with a dremel and cut them open.....and leave the edges 'a bit rough'

I agree, i'd have sooner you made this ahem 'beautiful' mess on a run down headlight, than an actual running, working one from your car, because otherwise, well, you'd be a bit frustrated!

Of course. I was looking at them today and thinking, as they do not work, what a shame they just didn't mimic the front of the 60s model in sheet metal or plastic.

Yeh. I was just looking and thinking, throw the useless drl lens thing away and replace it with a useful driving lamp or something.
