Noticed recently when driving at night and approaching road signs that their is an up down light flicker as if the headlamp unit itself was loose,it isnt.

Ford looked at it today and top techy thought it a problem with self levelling, after i had assured him we havent got self level,we put it on the MOT beamsetter, if the O/S headlamp was tapped only gently the beam flicked up and down. Anybody else?

Mine doesn't... I know they said they checked it... Put pop the hood, theres a grey colours spin cap it's fairly big, undo that, and pull the headlight light out, then check it's in properly. Refix it all back together and see.

Otherwise, it's checking the 3 bolts that hold it in, are in right, and that's a bumper off jobby.

Could even be the filament in the bulb itself that has gone a bit saggy. Seen that in standard tungsten bulbs. Not sure if it's possible with the high tension units, but if all else fails, would be worth swapping the bulb to see.

Just let the potential voltage dissipate first. Maybe dis the battery then activate the light switch. There's a sqizillion volts in there potentially.
