Well unfortunately I've got an appointment on Monday to get my driveline looked at. Last week I was leaving slow from a stoplight in 2nd gear (3:55 gears) and the entire driveline began shaking and shuddering the car. The car is barely drive able unless totally limped around. The vibration varies with the RPM and is much more noticeable with the car in gear. No CELs or anything either. Car is an Ecoboost and has 9000 miles and no driveline or suspension mods to speak of. We will see if I get to chock this up to another Chinese MT82 flub. Just wanted to document it, I'll update when I know more.

Your car is tuned? Good luck as you may be denied.

Car's running stock tune. No aftermarket parts on it except a catch can.

He changed his signature it seems. But he won't be able to hide the tune from the factory.
that sig sure didn't last long

Seems like plenty of people want to tune / hot-rod, but then they still want the warranty. Ford probably doesn't fancy itself as a charity

I want to have my cake and eat it too. :hitcomputer:

Vast majority of the time stuff like this is abuse. I'm making 700+rwhp and my MT82 is flawless.

I am assuming that someone who spends the $500 or whatever on custom tune (Tune+ 93 ? ) is keen on pushing the limits of their car.

you think the stock clutch would hold up for long under a Whipple?

I think the EB has a dual mass fly wheel. Not sure how durable those are.

NO NO NO it's still Ford fault because it should have held up. RIGHT even race cars fail too there built for it high demand of racing.

I posted what my stock clutch looked like after 3,000 miles with my Whipple. Multiple launches, burnouts and a dyno it looked really good. My stock clutch never slipped.

you definitely know what you are doing. I thought the stock clutch might slip under the higher torque, but doesn't sound like it.

Hell, I'd love to add some go-fast bits to my car but I'm so afraid of the whole Ford warranty thing that it's staying completely stock (save for the shifter).
