JonF get all of that in writing mate so that way you are covered and the ebony seats are covered from random backsides.
You'd want it all in writing anyway to make sure that down the line they don't start claiming you've modified the car by changing out the interior, if your climate seats were to go wrong for example...

Changing out the seats is a pretty good offer imo, and probably better than I would have expected. Mistakes do happen, and i'd imagine a good few of the cars will undergo some "fettling" by the dealer techs before they make it to their new owners so your car wouldn't be much different.

And some mats, and other stuff as good will (like that tac LS ) would round it off.

I agree, swapping the seats seems a good and reasonable resolution.

As the others have said, get it in writing. If that written confirmation was due yesterday, chase them and say your confidence has already been knocked, and you need this written confirmation to regain it!

(I still think Saddle with a black exterior will look superb though :p )

Good points re climate seats (mine are full climate, not sure what theirs are) and getting it in writing. Still haven't got the latter, despite their promise. Will chase tomorrow. On plus side, it's great to see some of those early cars arriving for people on the forum, and looking forward to seeing the pics to come :-) Will post mine if/when I eventually get it!! and whatever colour those pesky seats are...

I would love the Saddle but you couldn't spec it with Orange for some reason.

Mine might arrive in January but it doesn't have climate seats but they are black.

The car finally arrived at the dealer this morning (it was on the Eurasian Highway). I went down to have a look and... still prefer the black seats that I ordered, but the dealer failed to order! (Croyde - honestly - I think you're better off with black seats with your orange Mustang - the saddle colour inside would clash with orange)

So, am still deciding what to do. The demo car that they promised I could swap out my seats with wasn't there, as it was going through their registration/plates process, or something. Salesman also said something about none of the cars being registered until new year anyway, as "they're worth another ÂŁ250 that way". hmmm. oh, and the poor guy with the keys wasn't able to open the cars up properly as someone had put all the wrong fobs with the wrong keys. And there was no manager around.

Do not, I repeat, do not, go to Trustford in Colindale!! I might ask Andy if there's a hope of getting another dealer to do the seat swap , as I've totally lost trust with these dealers. If not, I may just cancel the whole thing. It's been a painful process. I've been with Lexus 15 years, and their customer service is exemplary - can't imagine any of this happening with them.

But congrats to everyone whose cars have arrived - has been great seeing the pics on these boards. Am attaching a few from the cars I saw today.....
