Has any one installed/bought carbon cartel mirror cap replacements?

Not the covers. The actual OEM replacement caps they make. Wondering if they fit perfectly and need anything more than just popping them in. I was told by Shelby American that it’s not possible to use after market replacements with out also supporting them with an adhesive similar to epoxy.
