The long awaited Harrop kits look to now be available to the public (or very close to).

Is there any real world feedback on the product?

The quality of the Harrop OEM installation was excellent on my GS Ute.

If the Mustang kit is of the same standard (albeit the need for extension looms etc), then this will be a "no brainer" choice for me.

Heres hoping Ford Au will consider offering it as an option pack and retain the factory warranty.

I got this reply from Harrop - which is interesting on more than one aspect.

Thank you for your interest in Harrop Performance Products.

Harrop are proud to announce our upcoming Supercharger kit for the Australian Delivered Ford Mustang. We aim to have kits ready to ship end of the year to coincide with the large batch of vehicles on order landing in Australia.

Except that the intercooler core should have been enabled from the start and the inlet to the blower should have been much larger and the blower should have been 2.3L minimum swept volume:D:D

All valid points - except that in 2012 my demo GS ute (2000km) was only $42k. I think FPV wanted those extras but the pricing would have pushed them outside the competitive window.

I'm guessing the Harrop kit with supporting exhaust and tune will be between $15K to $17K drive away.

Yes and I know how much it did cost(Lots!!). I think the only reason the Ford racing kit wasn't used was due to local content requirements. It would have been classed as Imported and therefore made it too expensive.
I ordered mine new before they were discontinued and it was $60k. Still a bargain for the performance to I think. Silliest thing was no big brake option:headbonk:

The email I received back from Harrop on pricing was:

"Estimates on Fitted and Tuned kits are around the $13000 mark."

I like the look of their exhaust system, looks very nice. Not sure if they are making them or they are someone elses exhaust rebadged?

The Harrop supercharger kits are always neat and clean. A friend has the ft86 version and its very well developed. Will be keeping an eye on this.
