the guard is such a versatile color. it looks good with light or dark wheels. great color choice from ford.

Along for the ride! The weather has absolutely sucked lately.

Are those factory or aftermarket stripes? (guessing aftermarket if it's a '15)

I'm really interested to see how the black factory stripes look on the '16 model in Guard. Some snaps from Ford's configurator:

I'm hoping they come glossy as part of the paintjob, and also hoping that the Guard isn't so dark that it drowns the stripe effect out...
They are glossy and do a "ghost fade" on the very front & rear. But they are applied vinyl stripes, not painted on. Can be ordered from Ford parts. Sorry now I did not order them on my car

Great pic. Sorry about the weather. Where is "Coitus," anyway?
Coitus is the term Patrick (member) came up with for COTUS.

It was code name for The Ford tracking system acting up like women's PMS. :headbonk:

What a stunner :hail:

This one popped up on my Facebook feed. At first I thought it was Magnetic, but a bit of snooping on the owners page reveals it's actually Guard!

It's sitting on Eibach Sportline springs and 1" American Muscle spacers.

That is the best looking car I've ever seen. I'm awestruck. It's the same feeling I got when I saw the DSG Mach1 back in '03. Like women, you can look at ten beautiful Mustangs but only one makes you go....WOW!!! Thanks for sharing.

Are those rims painted or plasti dipped?

Wow, what a combo

Oh... That's fracking brilliant. Thanks! :clap2:

Guard is currently in the lead for me. A friend asked me what "Guard" meant. I was like I dunno. Maybe it's like "The National Guard." You know, like army fatigues. I'll run with that. IS and MG are still contenders, but at the end of the day, I like having at least the suggestion of color in my next Mustang. The others are somewhat conservative in my opinion. Too safe for my blood...

As someone who is now in the Guard and drives a Mustang in the color Guard it's really annoying to clarify that question haha.
