Apparently the customer care rep I spoke with about the bumper was in training and did not know how to handle the situation. A Vicrez care manager reached out to me today and set things right. She was extremely professional and courteous and took care of me. After speaking with her she set things right by comping me the cost of bumper repair. The damage was done during shipping from Cali to Florida. After it was all said and done, I was very pleased with how the customer care manager at Vicrez handled the situation and will likely be ordering from them again. Honestly, I could repair it myself but I shouldn’t have had to and she was aware of this. In the meantime I put these inexpensive eBay rocker/splitters on. Most likely going to change them still undecided, I think they look decent especially for the price.

Yes I know I need to lower her, waiting for Steeda Magneride Springs to come back in stock early October. Also waiting on my tint guy, just hit 700 miles today.

I was thinking about ordering the GT500 rear valence from them, but was spooked by your original post. Glad to hear it was a misunderstanding. The fact that THEY reached out to you, not vice versa, says a lot about the way they run their company.

I've looked through the thread and was wondering if someone has put the pony logo in the front grill?

I really like the GT500 bumper look but I don't want to give up the iconic running pony

What you have done has been inspirational for me! I might switch to the MP concept design, I think it looks cleaner, than the eBay ones.

@spydrhawk26 Good lord that looks crisp as heck! :sunglasses:

I felt the front looked incomplete with the empty grill but your car just killed it!
How did you attach the emblem to the grill? I'n not aware on how it is attached to the original grill.

I can feel that I have to figure out if I can get a bumper shipped to Denmark!

Thank you. Follow the steps below:

I did this with the bumper off. To attach it I used a small sheet of 3M automotive foam tape (4"x6" I believe) and some 3M adhesive promoter. Break the plastic tabs on the back of the emblem (they get in the way) and attach the tape sheet to it using adhesive promoter. Then cut excess tape away using a craft knife. Next apply more adhesive promoter to the back of the tape and place on the grill. *Important: the emblem is curved so after placing make sure to secure it to the grill using wire twist ties at various locations on the emblem, like the mouth, tail, and legs. That will hold it close to the grill and give the tape time to bond and set. Weave the twist tie through the grill, then around the emblem and twist. I let it sit for about a week before I removed the twist ties. Picture included to show where I attached wires (silver in color, but circled for reference).

I installed it yesterday, and what fun it was! The blasted hockey sticks....the tabs were a pain to get in. Then trying to figure out some mystery part, all in all in was a fairly easy straight forward install. Couple of jack stands and a jack. Now I need to clean her up, not going to wash for a few weeks. At least the bumper anyway. My paint guy did an amazing job with the color match. He also gave me 2 bottles of touch up paint gloss black and race red. I need to secure the Mustang to the front I think she looks good with the emblem after test fitting. In addition, I test drove it thoroughly yesterday to ensure I did not lose ACC, it works perfect like factory so I am extremely pleased about that. Still need to make a slight adjustment on the bumper to get her more aligned but I think it looks good.

Also to confirm the non-pp belly pan fits perfectly. I would recommend getting non-pp fender liners as well for the bumper, although I did manage to secure it pretty well.

Side note: Although the bumper is slightly lower than stock, it will def not clear some parking stoppers here in SWFL, my stock PP1 bumper cleared most of them even though I usually park in reverse. With this bumper I will remain parking in reverse.

This looks amazing! Where did you order your belly pan from?
