GT350R! Just purchased a rare pre production 5/26/2015 build date R ; I’ve autocrossed in past with a fox body Saleen, open tracked my 2000 cobra R and now looking for help on camber etc for either event ; the GT350R on YouTube running the big track at willow springs was at 3 1/2 negative front ? But for pro solo or local autocross?? What’s working? Thanks everyone ( Chassis PP011)

I haven't run mine for autox yet... historically the answer for autox is as much as you can get though assuming top tier tires are used.

For open track, in my non-R I've been up to -3.9 and as low as -2.5 and will be starting 2020 season with -3.2 as I'm trying some diff tires and adding diff springs/sways than stock so kinda starting over again....

prob not that useful, but it's a starting point!

This is from the 2019 Shelby Supplement and I would assume its for a road track and with the adjustable camber plates. I think for Autocross you probably want more but you will likely have to add some adjustable plates as they only became standard with the 2019 models. Also may want to reach out to PP001 on here he is a wealth of information on these pre prod cars.

Agreed, you probably won't get that much camber out of the front unless you get plates or oval out the hole and add a service bolt, but I ran the track alignment for over a year on both autocross and track with no issues.

Thanks everyone; the 2019 has camber/ caster plates already? So I could order Fords plates and dealer install? 2.2 front or more in front?rear 1.6 ? Will the rear adjustments work without any non factory parts ? On my 2000 Cobra R I slotted the upper strut bolt holes and ended up with 2.75 degrees with no change or need for a camber caster plate? Opinions?

yeah as follow up, it took a camber bolt AND the oem 2019 camber plates to get to -3.9...
Doing it with the bolts changes the virtual pivot point relative to the overall KPI angle. Plates + opening the tower hole is the way to go for getting large camber.

I wasn't going to scrap the oem plates for vorshlag since I already had them.. . and they max out before the hole limits them so bolts are the easy/cheap button...

plus I'm not sure I care about the minimal scrub radius change which most people ignore when putting the widest tire possible on anyway....

Any other reasons to be concerned about it?

Other than it can (but is unlikely to) slip, not really.

I thought front toe is usually slightly negative/out for track alignments. So that turn in is easier. Ford Performance specs slightly positive/in toe up front.

Anyone else think that's strange?

I'm trying -.05 on each side on Friday at Summit Point Main Circuit.
