Hello there,

I'm very happy to join this community with my 16' Yellow GT350 TrackPack,
Took it to the track many times (Stock Tire and Alignment), opened the user manual and BANG! Adjustments for Track use (Camber, Caster and Toe)

Immediately took the sheet and went to the best Alignment shop here in the country (Qatar), unfortunately they didn't know what to do, they are not used to this type of cars!!! He said it needs a special tool to do the camber ,,, etc,

My questions are:

Is it easy to adjust them? Any additional tools needed?

And will it improve alot at the track? (+2 sec difference?)

Thanks

The way the hardware is setup you will never achieve FP alignment specs. You need to purchase caster/camber plates like Vorshlag to reach the recommended settings.

If you grind off the knurling on the 2 front strut (to hub) bolts, you can lean the tire in and tighten the bolts down to achieve the FP recommended front camber - without buying anything.

Or you can go to the Dealer and buy these bolts

Bolt
Part #: W715295S439
Pack Qty: 4
$14.36

NUT - HEX. - FLANGED
Part #: W520216S441
Pack Qty: 4
$22.48

I just installed them on my R, I opened the upper hole in the strut to 11/16" (+1/16) the max I could get out of it was 1.8 degrees

Im having a hard time visualizing this. If you can do this why would you buy a camber plate?

You can only go so far with this method, the tire starts getting close to the strut
but for my Auto X class I can't run camber plates.

Sure! But that's a modification. So without modifying the current hardware setup you can not achieve the FP settings. My statement still stands. I personally would prefer Mach4.6 solution as I wont be compromising the integrity of the fastener.

Any signs of contact with the wheel and strut under load?

None yet, I still have a good +3/8" of clearance.
I have a race in 2 weeks, I'll find out for sure.
Good to know! Have fun and good luck!!!
