Hi guys,

For those who got gt350 steering wheel installed - how are you finding it in comparison to the stock wheel? Is it smaller than the stock one? Does the meshy bit make it feel... weird?

Considering getting one - where did you get yours from and who do you think seems to be offering best pricing?

Thanks!

It's great, material feels awesome and it's a little thicker than the stock wheel. Same size overall though, the stock bezels and controls snap into the new one. Not sure what you mean about the meshy bit?

I bought mine well before the price went up, from Levittown Ford. Not sure who has the best price now, but if you can order with one or two others then you will all save on shipping.

Thanks mate!

The "meshy" thing I was referring to is that alcantara material on the sides. But from the sounds of it, there's no issues with it!

Now just to find it cheap...

No worries! Just to clarify, alcantara is the suede material all over the top & sides, only the bottom section is leather. It's not really a mesh, just a fabric, and it feels amazing

I've seen a few on ebay which end up being $480 delivered, I'm part of the group buy at the moment so it will end up being about that anyways

Really like mine. My favorite mod. Feels much better (grip and basic feel) IMO then the original wheel. It's not smaller. Wheel overall is obviously the same size (everything swaps over from the original wheel) and the grip points maybe slightly larger... but not by much.

I bought from CJ Pony Parts. I compared a few US vendors, and they all came out similar when shipping was factored in. CJ came in slightly cheaper, and I had good experience with them previously and went back to them. Note, they offer an 8% discount if you PM them and ask. Other vendors also offer similar discounts. Factor that in.

There was also a group buy at some stage in the Marketplace... not sure if that is still active.

I work in Mount Waverley and live out near Yarra Valley, and happy to meet up if convenient if you want to check one out.

Great price but just read this on their site....

We do not accept international orders other than customers from Canada. Sorry, we no longer ship to Puerto Rico. Please email any questions to [email protected]

I challenge anyone to beat that!
34% discount = Nice find.
Old stock probably. I paid less than that, then they increased the price

Nah when I ordered mine, everywhere was selling them between USD$280-300

Not sure why the price went up (substantially), maybe Ford themselves raised it

Hey Phil (or anyone else), does the black leather on the GT350R wheel look odd with the stock airbag centre that is more grey in colour? Or does the Alcantara balance it up?

Can't say it does. I think it fits just nicely

Thanks Phil. I was on a website and seen a black airbag housing which got me thinking... But I am glad its not necessary as I wasnt looking forward to spending just as much as the wheel itself on a new centre.
