There was a free shipping code? I ordered mine last week but they said they won't be getting them in fit a few weeks. Free shipping definitely would've been awesome.

Well i have read nearly all of the thread, but the shops not having any pictures of their items are confusing me... Could someone maybe sum up once again:

1. Are we talking about 2 different steering wheels? One which was posted early had the snake on it, all the recent with alcantara had the pony?
2. So which of them is currently available or will be in stock soon?
3. Is any of them working with the pedal shifters?
4. Where can i place my order :headbonk:
5. Is there any summary of available GT350 / R parts which are available atm?

Thanks so much for your help!

To question 1: the steering wheel does not include the airbag. The actual GT350 cars have an airbag cover with the Cobra. Everyone else has a Pony as swapped from the original steering wheels. They're two separate components.

2: The GT350 wheel is nationally on back order.

3: the paddle shifters appear to work, but we are still awaiting confirmation. The actual mount points on the wheel frame are there.

4: Levittown Ford, Tasca Ford, Ford Parts.com, take your pick. The part number is FR3Z-3600-AC.

5: none I've seen yet.

I have an Auto. I took a leap of faith that it will work with the auto.

Well I said I was going to see if my wheel(1/2 out there) will work with my auto(I was saving it for my manual)

I asked Brad,my guy, that does all my work at the Ford dealer(Did my Hellion a month ago) to see if it would work(Car is there waiting on an alluminator short block but that is another story)

I just got his email and this is what he said(funny guy):

"History has been made. Nothing special to install just had to swap rear cover for the paddle shift. Now we need the engine done so you can claim the fastest gt350 steering wheel equipped car in the country! Everyone else has a record. Why not."

Now who is going to donate their wheel so I have one for my manual as I had planned?
LOL

Awesome works on auto clearly.

Still on the fence, well on the climbing side not even 50/50 to pull the trigger. Alcantara will be a lot harder to clean than the leather in the long run (and the wheel is ALWAYS the grimiest place in the car from hands/oils no matter how clean you think you are) and doesn't really offer much more thickness or other pros other than material feel.

Looks odd to me on a premium where everything is leather. I guess it would blend more on a base cloth interior where the ebony cloth would be closer to the alcantara texture.

I guess I'm just not feeling it to the point I feel the need to drop $175 for it as a must have item. $175 is cheap for what it is, but hat's also $175 to some other more meaningful mod too.

Yeah:
I took one for the team:headbonk:
I had planned to use it on my base manual car-I think it will look better as well.
I may send the original to be "thickened" now that it is off(I will have to talk "mustang guy"- down on price).
I may then reinstall that and put this one on the manual as I had planned......or it may just be cheaper to buy another one for the manual.

But then I would have two useless extra wheels(instead one one) lying around.LOL
Maybe there is a market for them if we could all sell ours to someone to "upgrade" them and resell them.
