It's fixed now. I was being an idiot and thought there was only one way to reinstall the wheel.
I'm pretty sure there's still only one way to install the wheel. There's alignment pegs on the hub. You could potentially install it upside down, I suppose, but I don't think anyone would do that.

The alignment pegs can rotate as many times as you like u can install this thing in a half dozen directions depending on how you align the wheel on the center bolt

Did guys who have auto with paddles have to re use their original wiring harness from their old wheel? I noticed that the cable harnesses from the 350 wheel didn't fit the harnesses of the paddle shifters.
I also couldn't get the black plastic piece to sit fully flush, so now I can feel it when I hold the steering wheel at 10 and 2. I think its because the original black from my stock wheel doesn't match the dimensions of the 350 wheel.

Interesting. I doubt there are many automatic owners yet who've bought the wheel yet. I have one on order and plan on transferring my paddles over. This is something i'll be following closely.

There are a LOT of auto owners who have. Haven't really seen any fitment issues on mine. if there is a gap on the 3/9 positions, it's a millimeter if that. I figure it's variances in the alcantara material more than the housing itself.

yup, its really tiny, but the bottom one is perfect. not a deal breaker by any means, Im sure ill get used to it. Just confused as to why I couldn't use the new wheels wire harnesses.

yeah let me know what happens, its a real nice wheel and feels dramatically different then stock. took me a while, redid everything twice for some reason but just watch the videos a couple of times and you'll be fine.

Because the GT350 doesn't have paddles. Or an auto.

Excuse my ignorance guys. I've really only seen pics of manuals with the wheel. So I just assumed. You know what that means.
Any auto owners out there have pictures of the paddles on the wheel and the fitment issue?

sorry for the grainy pics. Its not that bad, you can barely see it , but you can feel it a little when your fingers wrap around that part of the wheel. first pic is the left side, right see is the same, plastic end doesn't fit all the way in. second pic is the bottom and it fits perfectly with no issues. I don't think its a big deal at all. Don't let this make you not want to get the wheel because its soooooo much better then stock.

the bottom one is perfect.

I know what you mean. The plastic shroud on the back doesn't sit flush if the wires aren't routed correctly. I noticed the same, and when I went to pull it back apart and reseated the wires, it was flush.

Yea, because that back plastic piece is flexible and if the wires are blocking it, it can't stretch all the way out so that it's flush.

I wish I made pictures when it happened to me, because it's kinda hard to explain. I'll say this, the primary culprit was the wiring for the bottom switches on both sides. There's very little slack on those and were hard to maneuver.
