Thoughts on if the R wheel would look ridiculous in a base Competition Orange PP car?

I'm leaning towards the regular GT350 wheel, but could be swayed.

Also, whats the current cheapest place to grab a regular GT350 wheel?

No prep. Did one coat but did it a bit heavier than I would have if doing multiple coats. It wears down the chisel tip a bit.

With that stitching type, you should let the ink set up for a while, maybe a few days at least to dry properly or you'll get blue hands when you touch the wheel. During the install today, didn't get any blue residue, as it set up for a few months in the shipping box.
I got the wheel and the same marker but I dont get how to do it. Its is impossible without getting it on the alacantra. I did the top part a little and got the blue on the alacantra and spent 15 minutes trying to get it off in between the stitches. :S:S:S

wow, man, use only fabric marker!
never let it dry! thats all.
you can use it on alacantra too
use the marker, do like 1" and use a towel immediately, don't press too hard, clean alacantra then use the marker again for next 1"
when you done check again, you can do it again on some areas

Im a little confused. You want me to use the fabric marker on the alacantra?
I am using the marker suggested in the post above.

This one:

Same one used for the blue stitching by the other forum member.

I did a lot of GT350 wheels for my friends.
I tried several fabric markers but I like only one type.
I am on vacation now and will be back home Sun and can tell you which one is good.
You need one that is juicy.

I was impatient and went ahead and did all of it except the leather part. Did it slow and steady. Some of it had to get on the Alacantra because the stitch was inside and the pen wasnt narrow enough to go directly through. But I think the Alacantra just gets a little darker and doesnt really stain blue or anything.

I did it in the morning. Will I still be able to use a wet towel on it?
Would I apply the towel on everywhere I used the marker or just the alacantra part (would be difficult without touching the stitching).

Also, wouldn't the towel smudge the fabric marker dye further into the suede?

I think you're worrying too much about it. You can't help but get some blue on the Alcantara because of how the stitching is but once it's in the car, even in direct sunlight, you have to look really closely to see that medium blue on the black suede. The key is to keep it neatest on the leather since that's the part most folks will see.
But even at a car show, no one is going to get that close, they'll only notice that sweet blue stitching.
