The 2016 mustang parts are live! I have found 2 separate listings for what I think are GT350 wheels. Unfortunately both have "call" for the price. I am going to see if I can get a price from my contact.
Please keep us updated!

Can you shoot out a part #? I'll order one and see what comes of it

I think this is it since the 3160 trans is only in the Gt350 $242

http://www.fordparts.com/Commerce/P...search=true&year=2015&make=Ford&model=Mustang

Remember steering wheels aren't universal anymore. The autos are specific with the padlle shifters and there is sync and nonsync wheels too. The buttons/controls and trim panels for this wheel also have a different part # than the normal GT, so they may not be swappable.

And no one knows if that air bag portion in the center is swappable either yet.

Didn't see that one! I am thinking that is the wheel as the two I found both have the 3160 trans listed. I might have found the 350r wheels.

Both the buttons and paddles should be able to be swapped over from our current steering wheels. Will take some disassembly of both wheels but it should be possible as long as the internal mounts are the same.

Yup a lot of ifs not known if they share the same parts.

The CF wheels are there too with no price. Part # 1007D they say Shelby CF. Also the regular 350 wheels are there too no price either. Even the lugnuts are there marked Shelby part. The rotors are there $300 a pop.

I am almost willing to guarantee that the buttons for sync and such will swap over without issue. There should have been no reason to change their mounting location or shape. The real question is going to be the paddle shifters for us auto guys.

Probably not worth it. You will lose the paddles as if you feel back there they seem to me come out of the back of the steering wheel, and from the diagram on Fordparts look to me like they are mounted in the wheel and not the steering column.

Since the 350 only comes in manual there won't be a wheels to accommodate the paddles. To me (as an auto owner too) not worth it just for very very slightly different looks- simply flat at the bottom and wrapped slightly different; otherwise looks the same to me. Personally, I dont lie the suede accent the used on the 350 wheel on each side with the leather. The OEM all leather looks better to me IMO.

All in personal preference!

To me the 350 wheels looks more aggressive then the standard wheel. I prefer the alcantara wrapping over the OEM leather for both looks and comfort.

If you notice though that the paddles are in front of a plastic cover. My question is whether the paddles are mounted to the interior metal frame of the wheel or if they are actually mounted to this plastic backing. If they are mounted to the frame then it will probably be quite difficult to swap them in. If however all of the mounting hardware and supports are located on the removable plastic cover (which is how I would design a mass produced part) then it should not be an issue. Only time will tell... Or if someone has already taken their auto wheel apart...

Yeh I dont know either. The diagram on fordparts suggests the paddles are part of the wheel by the mounting arrows, but who knows how accurate that is or not. I dont think they would differentiate a manual vs auto steering wheel in the part otherwise either, and a more expensive price for the auto wheel.
