I have been thinking about purchasing some aftermarket wheels for my GT350 to square up the stance, however I have considered buying another set of of rear wheels and potentially placing them on the front. However I am curious if this would be problematic with the offset? Anyone with this experience or have any information if this would be viable?

gt350r is 19x11 w/ 24mm offset (front)
gt350 is 19x11 w/ 62mm offset (rear)

so you'd need 38mm of spacer to make the rear 350 wheels fit on the front w/ same strut to wheel clearance as stock.

not sure on studs as I haven't done this... guessing the R studs would be fine though since essentially it's the same issue just built into the wheel...

I run this exact setup all the time at track days. GT350R front hubs, a 35mm spacer and OEM rear 11" rims. Works like a charm. If you're going to run really wide tires - more than 305's - you might need to find a 38mm spacer.

I started a dedicated thread on a square tire set up but maybe the respondents here can help. I want to run stock 2020 GT350 front rims on the REAR of the car. Want to run 28535/19 width tires all around. Will this work?

math says they will stick out 3/4" more than the oem 19x11 rears do. roughly. so lots o' poke, but you have the wheels so swap and see?

Hell, I don't even have the car. I'm on my second delayed delivery date now, Ford has pushed it back from Oct 17 to Nov 01.

I'm trying to line up some late season wheels/tires I can use, because if I can get the car by EOW this week, we appear to have a decent window of 40-55 degree weather coming up where I could drive the car before the snow flies here in PA. If I have to wait until I get the car to try and check the "front rims on back" plan I have (see my thread here:
https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/square-tire-setup-for-3-season-gt350-touring.149760/ ), it'll be too late to order the rims/tires and get them on the car before the weather window closes. Thanks again Ford, for the unexplained delays!

Can someone here do me a favor and put a stock front GT350 wheel on the back of their GT350 and send some pics of what it looks like, as well as checking if it rotates freely?

ahhhhh... i don't have a oem wheel or i'd do it for ya, but it very likely will poke too far to look decent, and likely could hit the qtr lip potentially too if compressed enough in a bump or turn.

you can probably run 285/35/19 on the oem 11" rear wheels though, it'll look stretched but I think that's in spec of most 285's. there's a market for your take off cup2's if you don't think you'll use them too.

The issue with a square setup is that you will need extended studs and spacers up front, as that is the end that needs less offset to fit properly. There won't be a wheel that you can rotate w/o spacers/studs in front that will keep the rear inside the quarter lip.

Good luck though!

So, can I buy 4 of these...https://lmr.com/item/SVE-177912H/sve-r350-wheel-black-19x11-15-18

Plus spacers for the front...https://www.cjponyparts.com/wheel-spacer-black-5-lug-pair-mustang-1965-1973-1994-2021/p/WHSP26-V/

for my winter setup on the R?

I would love an OEM looking wheel that was 10.5" to make the more extensive selection of 275/35 or 285/35 tires fit the wheels better than maxing out the allowable rim width of 11". I haven't yet found an online store or local shop who have the Aplin PA4 or 5 in stock. For the "dry only", but cold temp conditions I will take the car out, these tires seem like great candidates. Yes, I could save $600 on a cheaper set, but for that money, I'd rather have complete confidence in the rubber.

I am trying hard to not overcomplicate this matter (which I believe I have already done through the hours spent reading the forum and looking at tires). I plan to run on the CF rims on the road and track most of the year, using "square" tire setups that fit the stock CF rims for longer tire life through rotations. Cup 2's on the track and possibly MP4S on the street, though the cup 2's REALLY hold my novice skills on the road well....makes me feel like a better driver than I probably am...for now.😬
